OVERDRIVE: New Song Available For Download

July 10, 2007

As a taster for the forthcoming OVERDRIVE album "Let the Metal Do the Talking", the Swedish band has decided to make the first track, "Chasing Highways", available for download from the group's MySpace page. It's a pre-album, pre-mix version which will be available only for download, and has only been available on the limited-edition Sweden Rock Festival freebee sampler. The song was penned by Janne Stark and singer Per "Periloz" Karlsson and is the first new written track since 1985, and marks Periloz's first writing contribution to the band.

"Let the Metal Do the Talking" is due in September on Lion Music and features such other tracks as "Resurrection", "Sinister Warfare", "Gravy Train", "Trapped under Ice" and "Fight to the Finish".
